I love how I could easily donate half the the supplies in my craft room when I switched from scrapbooking to mostly project life! All that clutter was so overwhlming- I rarely scrapbooked successfully because there were just too many paper packs and stickers and embellishments to choose from!
Now it’s easy to grab out my core kit and album and slide them right back when I’m done working on them for the day!

I used to use photo albums all the time when my kids were growing up. When I started taking scrapbooking classes, I learned some interesting techniques, but they were also very time consuming and the page layouts usually didn’t have many photos on them. Project Life is a great way to balance between a photo album and a scrapbook. Instead of little stickers for comments in my photo albums, I now have journaling cards for longer notes and descriptions. There are so many different configurations in the photo pocket pages that you can put together whichever page makes sense for your photos. I love the focus on the photos that document our lives!
