Simple things Sunday 99
Now it's your turn...what simple thing did you celebrate this week?
Simple things Sunday is about taking time to photograph the everyday details that make your life unique, beautiful, and special. Each Sunday we gather here to share our photos with each other. To enjoy the beauty that can be found in the ordinary and to be reminded of just how important the simple things are.
A certain little girl in our family has been waiting for what seems like her life whole life for it to be her turn to go to ballet! Well, her year has finally come and I couldn't be more excited for her!! She started her very first ballet class last week and she LOVES it!
Photoshop actions I used on this photo:
ENTER TO WIN A SET OF SIMPLE FIXES ACTIONS:
How would you like to win a set of Simple Fixes actions by Addy Lane for PS/PSE? They're some of my favourite basic action sets and are so great for correcting those minor photo blemishes like bright spots, dark spots, red or yellow skin tones and more!
HOW TO ENTER:
To enter simply leave a comment on this post telling me one special moment you'd like to capture on camera this Fall and you'll get your name in the draw! Earn an extra entry by inviting a friend or two to join our Simple things party this week. Just make sure you leave me another comment if you do so that your entry will count! Good luck. I'll announce a winner next Thursday. :)

2. Link back directly to your simple things post not your blog/website.
No links to other linky parties, giveaways or craft projects pretty please.
This linky is all about the photos.

What a great giveaway! Thanks so much. I'd like to capture the glory of fall in North Carolina this year. Fall is my favorite season and I'm so ready for sweater weather!
my daughter (featured in my post this week) too is dying to take ballet!
I would love to capture each of my children playing in the leaves this fall. maybe I can edit the photos with my new quick fixes!
That's such a lovely classic ballet picture - the look of anticipcation on your little one's face though... it just makes it. Beautiful.
Aww bless her. My daughter loves her dance class so much that she takes 4 classes now; ballet, tap, modern and drama.... costs me a fortune.

Being in Australia, it's just coming into Spring, not Fall, but I'm looking forward to capturing my son's 3rd Birthday next month!! He's requested a 'Superhero' themed party, can't wait to get started!
I'm hopping to capture my son rolling around in freshly fallen leaves this fall.
Do I leave my comment here? If so I'd love to capture some Halloween baking. I'm going to attempt to use the whole pumpkin not throw the insides. I'd also like to photograph the kiddies in there costumes, bobbing for apples.
I want to capture a camping trip! We love love to camp, but haven't been in over a year. Can you believe it? This fall is going to be the year of camping!!
Your daughter is so beautiful. I love her hairdo. :) Good luck, little ballerina! <3
Oh Rebecca- I love that ballet photo of your daughter. My girls have to wear black leotards- so I'm really loving those pink ones.
Thank you so much for this post. I want to let you know that I posted a link to your blog in Creative Busy Bee Craft Inspirations, under the Page 1 post on Sep. 23, 2012. Thanks again.
This fall I'd love to photograph my grandchildren playing in the fall leaves and with pumpkins. The leaves are already coming down. For the Pumpkins I just need to find a pumpkin patch and a good day.
These actions look so cool! Thank you for giving us this chance!
Congrats to your little one for entering dance class. I think she will be a natural. :)
I love your blog! It's such a lovely place to visit. However, I'm not commenting for the Giveaway. I only take pictures with my Nikon Coolpix and my photo editor is Pic Monkey. Someday I hope to enter the big girl world. But, until then. I'm just me here.
Blessings!
It brings back so many memories of my girls years ago wanting to be in gymnastics. Great post.

That ballet picture is adorable!
The most special photograph that will be taken this fall will be a family picture that will include my mother, something I never thought I would see earlier in the summer. She has fought and battled cancer and is on the road to recovery. So thankful and blessed!
Oh Rebecca! I adore your ballet photo!! I hope your girl loves it. I enjoyed ballet for so many years. I hope my girls will one day too.
Thanks for the fun giveaway! I'd love to capture a family hay ride ;)
Have a great week!
I forgot to comment on your photo. I love it!!! I love the composition and the way it blurs on the other dancers emphasizing her importance to you. It's great. I did invite someone to your linky party. I don't know if she will see it this week or not. I hope so but she is a busy mom so I have to hope she checks her email. :)
I always get so busy on Thanksgiving that I forget to capture the small details like the table setting. I want to do that this year.

This fall I would love to capture our thanksgiving dinner. Since she was a newborn we have always taken a picture of our youngest next to the turkey.
