the simple things

I'm beginning to think that moving back home from a tropical island to Canada, in the middle of winter, may not have been the greatest timing on our part. ;) Ha!

I tried not to cry when temperatures here dipped down to -30 degrees Celsius {-46 with the wind chill} this past week and instead broke out the fuzzy socks, pulled on the long underwear and of course consumed mass amounts of hot chocolate! :)

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Welcome to{simple things sunday}this week folks!

Oh my goodness- I can't imaging what that would be like to go from one extreme to the other like that. I know the warm drinks would sure be in abundance if it were me. Beautiful, beautiful shots!

Oh I can so relate!!! Although my move hasn't been nearly as extreme as yours. This is my first time living in snow conditions and boy is it crazy! Good luck as you re-adjust.

I could not imagine leaving the warmth of a tropical island. Especially to return to cold chilly temps. Maybe it wont last to long and hubs can get a job somewhere else warm.

oh my! -46! EW! I would cry... This is why I live in the South. I don't do well with temps below 60! I need my sweet tea, a/c and Southern food :)

We just moved from California to Virginia. While it's not as cold here as it is in Canada, I'm definitely feeling the temperature difference. All I can say is thank goodness for hot chocolate and heating packs!
