A few years ago, back when I only had two kids, I took Carson & Emily on a little photo scavenger hunt searching for colors. What started out as an excuse to get some cute photos of the kids, quickly turned into one of the funnest summer afternoons ever! The kids loved it so much and so did I!
On Sunday I gathered the kids up again, this time all four of them, and we went on another photo scavenger hunt. Our goal: to find all the colors of the rainbow!
With so many colorful buildings & flowers here on the island we didn't have to search too hard. Such a simple activity, but it was so much fun! Add a photo scavenger hunt to your list of St. Patrick's Day activities this week...I guaruntee it's something both you and the kids will love!
PS. Don't forget to bring along some chocolate gold coins to enjoy after searching for your very own rainbow.

Addie's hair in braids!!! Cutest thing I've seen all day.
This looks fantastic, what a great idea! Putting it on the list for sure :D
I took my 4 year old on a "photo walk" yesterday, I let her have my old point n shoot and she LOVED it. I was quite impressed with the things she noticed and took photo's of and it was fun going through them all when we got back :)
PS - where did you find those orange steps?
Such a great idea to get the kids excited about pictures! Love it!

What a fabulous idea, I absolutely love it! I'm stashing it in my back pocket for when I have kids :)
this is absolutely fantastic! thanks so much for sharing, i definitely want to do this with my little one! and, your children are all gorgeous. :)
What a fabulous idea!
Thanks for sharing (and you had me at "island" lucky girl!)
Here in Ohio the colors right now are basically grey with a nice hint o' mud.
Such an easy and simple way to introduce colour and art into children's lives. Children see so much that we often "lose" as we become adults and it's a delight to see things through their eyes.
I also love the idea of having chocolate coins to find at the end of the rainbow hunt!!
Oh my gosh- I can't wait to do this. What fun! You take the most beautiful pictures- they are all so lovely.
What an amazing idea!! Your pictures turned out beautifully- and it really does sound like an exciting adventure for the kids!
