summer fun week: things to do

Don't you wish you could avoid ever hearing that dreaded phrase "I'm bored" even once this summer?

Well with these fun SUMMER crafts and activities you're sure to hear it a lot less often, I guaruntee!

I'm a big fan of the FRUGAL FAMILY FUN BLOG! Valerie always has plenty of great ideas for children's activities on a budget. For summer fun I especially liked the watermelon wrapping paper

and isn't this a  great idea for a hot summer day, painting with icecubes!?

If you've never been you MUST check out SIMPLE KIDS! So many great ideas including this one for creating your own backyard obstacle course.

Painting rocks is so fun! Here are a few tips and ideas from Martha herself.

I just love this idea from THE CRAFTING CHICKS. Fun for the kids and such a lovely keepsake to have! Be sure and browse around the Crafting Chicks website for a minute (or 10) there are SO many wonderful ideas!

I've been admiring Andrea's fabulous ALPHABET SUMMER and I'm really hoping to be able to do this with the kiddos next summer. Doesn't it sound fabulous! Find all the details and lots of fabulous pictures of her family's alphabet summer on Andrea's blog!

Have you read about Stacy Julian's MY FAVORITE SUMMER idea? Sigh. I just love it! Can't wait to do it with my own family!

Need even more ideas of fun stuff to do this summer? Here's a few more for you!

And be sure to check out these easy summer recipes you can try out with your kids from Craft Jr.!

Enjoy everyone and stop back by tommorow for our final day of SUMMER FUN week.

It's been a blast!
